Cleaning is Quick and Easy
When cleaned as directed, your Air Commander filter will give you many years of trouble free use. Failure to properly clean the filter may lessen filter effectiveness, and as with any air filter, it is possible for an excessive dirt buildup to cause air flow resistance sufficient to damage other ventilation components.
Cleaning Instructions
- Simply remove the
air filter.
- Flush with water in opposite direction of air flow arrows then rinse other side.
- Spray with COMBAT
Electrostatic Filter Cleaner to remove stubborn stains.
- Rinse thoroughly
to remove remaining dirt.
- Drain excess water
and reinstall.

The PATRIOT is designed to provide the highest arrestance available for the majority of furnaces and air Conditioners. The 0.12 inch W.G. initial resistance of the PATRIOT will perform best in systems configured with 1 square foot, or more, of filter area for each ton of air conditioning. Two layers of woven monofilament polypropylene with integral anti-microbial material provide 10 times more filtration than a disposable fiberglass filter. The deep loading center layer of non-woven polyester allows the PATRIOT to prolong the time between washings.

Installation Installation for normal household use, is easily performed without professional assistance. Simply remove your old disposable air filter and replace it with your new Air Commander filter. Refer to the filter label reguarding air flow direction when installing. For properly designed air systems, a minimum of at least one square foot of filter surface area is recommended per ton of air conditioning. |
