Cleaning is Quick and Easy
When cleaned as directed, your Air Commander filter will give you many years of trouble free use. Failure to properly clean the filter may lessen filter effectiveness, and as with any air filter, it is possible for an excessive dirt buildup to cause air flow resistance sufficient to damage other ventilation components.
Cleaning Instructions

Simply remove the air filter.
- Flush with water in opposite direction of air flow arrows then rinse other side.

Spray with COMBAT
Electrostatic Filter Cleaner to remove stubborn stains.

Rinse thoroughly to remove
remaining dirt.

Drain excess water and
reinstall.

The RANGER is designed to meet the special needs of some furnaces and air conditioners that require a very low resistance due to a limited return configuration. The 0.08 inch W.G. initial resistance of the RANGER will assure sufficient air flow to minimize concerns about freezing coils or overheating heat exchangers. The woven polypropylene layer with integral anti-microbial material provides 8 times more filtration than a disposable filter. Installation Installation for normal household use, is easily performed without professional assistance. Simply remove your old disposable air filter and replace it with your new Air Commander filter. Refer to the filter label reguarding air flow direction when installing. For properly designed air systems, a minimum of at least one square foot of filter surface area is recommended per ton of air conditioning.
